A 5.9 magnitude earthquake rocked western Iran on Sunday, injuring 25 people, hours after two earthquakes of 4.7 and 5.7 degrees in the southern province of Hormuzgan, state television reported.
Hoshang Pazund, governor of western Kermanshah province, told the television that he had received reports of 25 casualties whose injuries did not require hospitalization.

Local media reported that the first two earthquakes later damaged buildings in a few villages without casualties.
"Reports indicate the collapse of some walls, but no major damage is reported," the official IRNA news agency quoted Murtaza Selimi, head of rescue at the Iranian Red Crescent, as saying.
Iran has seismic belts and has seen devastating earthquakes in recent years.
