The number of newly infected Coronavirus around the world exceeds a quarter of a million infections, while the number of deaths exceeds 10,000. The countries of the European continent are at the forefront of those affected by 100,000 injuries so far.


Italy has overtaken China and has become the first country in the world in terms of death toll from the virus, followed by Iran and Spain. The number of deaths in Italy reached 3405, exceeding the number of deaths recorded in China, which is 3245.


However, for the second consecutive day, the Chinese authorities did not register any new local infection, and Wuhan, the capital of Hubei Province and the epicenter of the disease, did not witness any new cases.


In Britain, Prime Minister Boris Johnson said that his country would change the course of confrontation with the virus within the next 12 weeks, and asked the British to adhere to the current strict measures, including isolating themselves, working from homes, and not going to public places.


The Spanish government also ordered the closure of all hotels in the country, and announced the application of special measures in care homes after the high numbers of people infected and dead due to the virus.


In Turkey, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan issued a decree today to postpone all activities related to science, culture and the arts, in light of the government's efforts to contain the number of cases of corona, which rose to 359 cases yesterday since the announcement of the first case last week.



Several countries are witnessing strict precautionary measures in anticipation of the virus. The Algerian Ministry of Health announced that the number of deaths has increased to 9, after registering a new death in Medea.


The media also reported that the passengers and crew of the ship were quarantined bearing the name "Tariq bin Ziyad" and it was coming from the French city of Marseille, with 746 passengers and crew of 130 people on board.


In Tunisia, the delegate of the Ministry of Health in Sousse Governorate announced the registration of two deaths from the Corona virus. The Ministry of Health also announced the registration of 10 new HIV infections.


In Morocco, the Ministry of the Interior imposed a state of health emergency and restricted movement in the kingdom from yesterday evening indefinitely.


For its part, the government in Mauritania announced the extension of the closure of all schools and universities in the country until April 5, as part of measures to prevent Corona.


In Egypt, the authorities said yesterday that they would close all cafes, commercial centers, sports clubs and night clubs to reinforce measures aimed at containing the outbreak of the virus.


Egypt has recorded 256 cases of Coronavirus so far, including 7 deaths, and health authorities said 42 people recovered after receiving treatment.


As for Saudi Arabia, I decided today to suspend all domestic flights, buses, taxis and trains for a period of 14 days, starting tomorrow, Saturday.


It also prevented gathering and praying in the grounds of the Two Holy Mosques, especially on Friday, to limit the spread of Corona.


The Kingdom announced last Tuesday that it would stop praying inside the mosques, but at that time it excluded the Holy Mosque and the Holy Mosque. It also made decisions before suspending the performance of Umrah and the closure of schools, commercial centers and flights, in an attempt to prevent the spread of the virus.

 In Iran, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said - in a speech broadcast on television today - that Iran would unite to overcome the Coruna outbreak, and praised the doctors and nursing staff for their courage in tackling the virus that has killed 1284 people in his country.


In Israel, the emergency provisions that were ratified by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in an effort to limit the spread of the Corona epidemic, entered into force by imposing restrictions
